Documentation is the beginning and end for a Service Coordinator. Good documentation helps client services get approved, hopefully over and over again. It provides the reviewing agency (such as KHC, MCO’s, auditing personnel, etc.) the opportunity to see exactly how hard a provider is working for thier client, and how much a client needs a service. Unfortunately, not being able to document what is required creates loss of services for clients, and possibly poor reviews in an audit. ┬áThe purpose of this forum is to provide updates on expectations within our ever changing world, and offer the provider the opportunity to voice their comments or questions regarding the information.
